Alison Johnson
Alison's atmospheric oil paintings are vibrant and seductive and focal points for any space. By expressing the power of light playing amongst the water drops, this artist shows the abstract, surreal side to the natural world. Her seascapes follow a deep tradition which Johnson modernises and brings to a contemporary forefront. Colours sink below a piercing white surface as oceans and landscapes drift in and out of a sweeping hazy mist. The sky appears deep and brooding, the colours revealing a darkness that battles with the flashes of light. When shapes and figures do reveal themselves, they appear lost and fragile against the infinite space of the world around. Such is the atmosphere contained in these works they could easily be viewed as pure abstractions, each detail vital enough to stand alone. Ephemeral, warm powerful and evocative she creates a sense of movement through colour, light and balance. Johnson's delicate handling of the world she depicts around her has the power to not only move the viewer but to make a lasting impression. With a nod to the impressionist painters Johnson's work has been likened to the great masters of our time such as Turner. Such high acclaim has guaranteed her many exhibitions within the UK, Italy and Paris and is soon to exhibit in the Middle East. Her work continues to reach clients on an international scale.

Anna Cher
Hi there! My name is Anna Cher and I paint the mood for your walls. I'm a passionate floral and animal abstract painter. Being focused on the beauty of nature I try to catch a balance between realistic and abstract art. Experimenting with brushstrokes, layers, and colours I manage to find that delicate balance between the energy of mark-making and perception of reality. I mostly paint with acrylics and palette knives which let me work without overthinking, keeping my paintings immediate, fresh, and alive. My philosophy life is beautiful! I hope you agree with me 😊

Barbara Whitbourn
Barbara Whitbourn is a self-taught artist who has also studied at Newlyn Art School in Cornwall. Abstraction is a passion for her, the space left for the viewer to construct their understanding of the painting and emotional connection to it. Her love of rusting metals, erosion and the built environment have led her into abstracted landscape. Her abstracted landscapes in acrylic, oil and mixed media are inspired by the more wild and remote parts of the country. Her work reflects an emotional response to the natural erosion of the landscape and this shows through in her use of many transparent layers and texture, often incorporating gold leaf into her paintings.

Colin Brown
After completing a four-year course at Canterbury College of Art, I embarked on a career for 24 years as an illustrator- visualizer based in the West Country. As a freelance I was able to work for diverse range of Advertising, Design and 3 D companies in Bath, Bristol as well as London and Europe. I had the opportunity to work on many campaigns for many different companies Hasbro, Mattel, Cadbury's, Saga, Corgi Toys to name just a few. In many cases I worked closely with the designers' producing visuals and taking the project right through to the finished illustration stages. I latter went on to illustrate for publishing, on teaching books, magazines, posters as well as being commissioned by The Guinness Book Of Records. I now am a fine artist producing mainly one subject, being street scenes of the world. I like to evoke a sense of atmosphere and the feeling of being they're through a loose style taking my influence from the Impressionists and Fauvism, using my visualising ways to produce the work. I take on commissions and alongside this I also teach workshops and give live demonstrations. My work is mostly influenced from the Impressionists, although I like all forms of painting. I love to paint in a way that is free and loose, not being constrained by detail. I want to convey a sense of atmosphere and as if the painting was a fleeting moment in time. I concentrate on the light as being the most important thing within the painting and only adding the detail to knit the scene together, when needed. Having been as a Visualiser in the past as well as an Illustrator, it is from the visualising that I draw a lot of my technique today. I have the one style and like to try different things within it. I love all forms of art, but one of my biggest inspirations is Monet and the way he used paint and the single strokes of applied colour. I also like to make every stroke count and to be seen. This can give a great sense of movement.

David Cressman
Born in 1980, David is a self-taught artist and started painting in 2005 following a visit to the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art where he was inspired by the French impressionist collection and in particular the works of Claude Monet. He seeks to capture the most dramatic moments of sunlight and shadow on the urban landscape. His favoured compositional elements are buildings in conjunction with the reflection of light on water and the fine balance between the vertical and horizontal lines brings a sense of equilibrium and elegance to each work. Derrick Fielding
Born in Liverpool in 1965, Derrick remembers spending much of his childhood with his head buried in a comic, usually The Beano or Whizzer and Chips. He would relish being sent to bed early as a punishment for some misdemeanour, so that he could read the latest escapade of The Bash Street Kids or Dennis the Menace. From an early age he loved to draw and as he grew older, began to use this passion to unleash an elaborate imagination that created various board games for his neighbourhood friends. Fortunately, his father was a painter and decorator so his earliest 'canvases' were the backs of rolls of wallpaper, of which there was always a steady supply of. He later served an apprenticeship as a signwriter, painting the enormous advertising hoardings at sports venues up and down the country and this experience would influence his style as an artist in years to come. Living on the edge of the city, he was fascinated by the beauty of the surrounding countryside and would slowly venture further and further out on his pushbike. He ended up spending many years travelling around the country on marathon cycling holidays with friends whenever the chance arose. It always occurred to him that there was so much to see on a bike that you would never notice when travelling by car. Encouraged by friends and family, he loved to paint watercolour scenes of his home town and the success of these led him to painting professionally in 2007. His naive style is often dominated by light and shadow with exaggeration being the key, in both the composition and subject matter. He says 'my inspiration comes from everyday life and the dramatic beauty of the landscape that is interwoven throughout our lives'.

Epi
His first works began to appear in the early 2000s on walls around central Paris- stencilled quotations taken from seminal works of the French literary canon- and rather than the widespread acclaim and adulation he had hoped for earned him near-universal condemnation and opprobrium, putting him firmly in the sights of the Gendarmerie Nationale. Upon his return to Britain in 2014, he recognised that stencilling lofty French literary quotes on walls was probably an unwise career path to embark upon. Heavily influenced by the Stencil Movement that had its roots in 1960’s Parisian political protest art, Epi adapted his style, eschewing wall for canvas and reinterpreting the visual zeitgeist with a technique (if one could even call it that.) that would incorporate graffiti, Surrealism, Minimalism, Pop, and mid-century poster art. At the heart of his work lies a deep suspicion of the art establishment- whose ignorance, avarice and capriciousness he has long found abhorrent- and a desire to poke fun at the very metier in which he chooses to make his living. Through his work he endeavours to depict a fantastical narrative that runs parallel to the pedestrian and mundane- that is, a secondary reality, one where things both conventional and bizarre live together, as if bourgeois culture were shifted marginally towards chaos and absurdity (or at least that's what he says). He strives to bring his work into the reach of a broader base of modern collectors than usual- namely those who would typically shy away from expensive gallery pieces and over-hyped London auctions- until such a day that his work goes for serious money, when he will tell his loyal clients to fuck off and start selling his works to a small coterie of ultra-rich philistines. Epi now lives somewhere near Bath. He hopes that one day, long after his death, he will finally get the recognition he doesn’t deserve.

Inuka
For three years travelling the world Inuka found a passion for photography and collecting the essence of every country she explored. The essence is often hidden in the small details, and she found herself obsessively documenting the rich textures, patterns and colours throughout her trip. Originally planning her route based on what animals she could encounter along the way she quickly found her focus and built up an inspiring collection of photos that fuelled her desire to create. Capturing beauty in the contrast of the urban decay in the slums of India against the beautiful silks, artwork and geometry woven throughout, she came home and found herself falling in love with the perfectly imperfect urban street art in her home city of London and so she picked up a can of Montana gold and began to master the art of aerosol. Inuka means ‘to evoke’ in Swahili which sets intention for this upcoming artist collection. Her work features vibrant colour and bold geometric patterns, marbled and precious metal gild detailing with a thick resin finish to boost the colour and give it that extra shine. Inuka is exploring a range of mediums incorporating fabrics, stencilling, photography and acrylics reflecting the rich diversity of art she still passionately seeks and captures with her camera.

Her passion for the fashions and culture of this era feature heavily in her work and by using unconventional skin tones cleverly blended with a unique and eccentric style she brings each scene to life. I’ve always considered colour and texture to be the two main elements in my paintings, the colour helps to captivate the subject with the texture creating a careless and disordered feel to each piece. With her time in the studio providing a comforting outlet for Joss, the opportunity to be able to share her work with others is a dream come true.

In 2014 Michelle was asked to exhibit her work in a local gallery, It was this that forged her on to build her skills and passion, which lead to finding her own unique style. Before considering reaching for her camera, every project is meticulously pre-conceptualized, and only when the piece is thoroughly planned does the work begin. A location is sourced, and a model chosen, props are chosen to give extra symbolism within the work, wardrobe is picked and angles from which shots need taken are already written down in one of her many note pads. Once Michelle has all she needs its time to get creative digitally, stitching photo’s together using layers and layer mask’s, before getting to work on her textures and colour pallet that give that extra surreal tones. It is a medium that can be easily manipulated to create works with depth and atmosphere that no other medium can obtain. (well that is my biased view). Though my passion has been a life long journey, it is only since 2019 that I finally decided to pursue a career in art.

Richard Blunt
Born and bred in the West Midlands, Richard has always aspired to be creative. Loving art as a teenager, Richard decided he’d like to study Fine Art with the view to making his passion his career. However, taking advice from an advisor who told him, “you’ll never make any money as an artist”, he chose to compromise and to study three-dimensional design at Worcester College of Art. Upon leaving college, frustrated and unsure of his career pathway, Richard turned his mind to music. Whilst spending the next ten years playing in various bands he eventually relocated to Cardiff, South Wales, where he completed a degree in Popular Music and is still based to this day. Richard never lost his love for art, but it wasn’t until his late twenties that he was inspired to try oil painting and was instantly hooked. Following some early notable gallery success, in 2012 Richard was taken on by a UK based publishing house, placing his original artworks and embellished prints in galleries around the UK and gaining collectors for his work worldwide. Predominantly an oil painter, Richard paints in a traditional manner. However, inspiration from film, music and the world around him help form the backbone of his compositions. Obsessed with trying to make a painting tell a story, Richard uses fashion and props from bygone eras to help create his tales of love, life and mystery. Richard Blunt signed with Wishbone Publishing in 2018 and has a dedicated studio in Cardiff where he paints full time.

StuART Storey Art
Originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer, I spent 25 years building a career in the consumer goods industry working on everything from soap powder to ice cream, ultimately becoming the CEO of a cheese business. In 2020, I had a midlife renewal which enabled me to re-design my working life focussing on the things I love to do rather than the things I thought I should do. I now have a portfolio career as an artist (StuART), business coach and mentor (Vibrant Perspective) and as freelance cycling guide - it's a fantastic mix and I love it! I work from home in Hampton Hill, where I live with my wife, 2 kids and our dog - the area is a fantastic inspiration with the Royal Parks, River Thames and London all on our doorstep. I am a passionate cyclist, and love anything outdoors which forms the inspiration for much of my art. I tend to work in acrylics, and love to work with bold, bright colours and like to play with perspective taking the viewer on a journey through the picture.

Wild Seeley
Wild Seeley is a London Highbury based urban artist whose paintings defy convention. Juxtaposing urban scenes, humans with animal heads creating havoc and you enter Wild Seeley's world. With a distinctly British style Wild Seeley's work is subversive and surreal, using almost feverish marks, his painterly technique is highly distinctive. Inspired by the darker forces of society, the often-farcical forces of human nature and by merging popular culture with urban images his works force us to examine society and the individual. Wild Seeley has been on the underground urban art scene since 2005 and is now rising to prominence on the gallery circuit.
